3 Great Free Games To Play On Your iPhone or Android Phone This Weekend

By: Marwan, May 8, 2015
The weekend is here which means it's time to refresh the games on your phone. You can spend your weekend searching through the App Store's wilderness or check out the 3 games I've collected here for you. These are games I've been playing a lot last week so I guarantee they're fun. All three games are available for both iOS and Android for free and are in different categories.

1- Orbits - by Turbo Chilli

Jump from circle to circle with one tap. The game can be played with one hand and is fast paced. Collect diamonds, dodge spikes and complete levels. Despite being a one handed game it requires a lot of focus and thinking in order to complete the levels.

If you're after a beautiful game that you can play with one hand then you may want to try out Orbits. You can disable ads and skip levels with in-app purchases, but can play the full game for free.

Download on: iPhone/iPad, Android.

Climax Game: Dumb Ways To Die for Movies

By: Marwan, April 15, 2015
Most of you are familiar with the Dumb Ways to Die game. Short mini levels with three lives and fast paced game-play. Climax by Baikin Studios has a similar gaming style, but with a different concept. Instead of playing mini games where you avoid dumb deaths, you play mini games related to some very popular movies.

The game has 60 different movies. You have 10 unlocked by default and can unlock more as you reach higher scores. This gives an incentive to play the game more often as there's a challenge to defeat.

They Need To Be Fed 3 Review

By: Marwan, August 31, 2014
On August 19, They Need To Be Fed (TNTBF) hit the trilogy mark. The game started off on PC then made its way into iOS almost four years ago. I've never played any version of TNTBF in the past, so it was exciting to give the third version a try.

The concept of the game is pretty simple. You need to move your character around levels of rotating blocks while dodging spikes and picking up diamonds until you reach a hungry plant at the end of the level. The game has a little twist in it which makes it a lot more fun: Gravity isn't pulling your character down. Instead, every block has it's own small gravitational field and you jump from one block into another. You can not fall off and die as you're always withing a block's gravitational field.

Pako Review- Fun Car Game for iPhone & iPad

By: Marwan, August 22, 2014
The App Store isn’t short of games at all. Yet sometimes people struggle in finding the right game to play on their iPhones. I spend a lot of time looking for fun games and I have found a great one: Pako.

Pako is a simple car game. The objective is to drive around and avoid crashing into anything as your car will blow up if you crash. To spice up the game, there are police cars chasing you around the area and you have to dodge them too as well as the traffic, buildings and lamp posts. One of the areas even has tanks which fire at you!

Lucky Dragon- a game that makes dragons cute

By: Marwan, August 8, 2014

Apple updates the hardware of the iPhone every year to allow it to run games with more intense graphics and gameplay. The iPhone 5S features a powerful 64 bit processor that allows the 4 inch device to run games with almost console-level graphics. Yet, users tend to like simple games with minimal graphics that require a tap or so to play a game (think of flappy bird).

I am one of those users who wants a quick game to play on the go, and if you are too, then I'm sure you'll enjoy Lucky Dragon.

This is a guest post by Blaine Kelton. Blaine shares 5 trending apps that you should try if you haven't already done so.

The iTunes Store and Google Play are both beyond-brimming with new and notable apps, many of which can be yours on the cheap—or just the cost of your bandwidth (aka free). And with so many choices comes the eventual quandary, especially for newcomers to smartphones: Where do I even start?! It's a good question and one that I myself have struggled with as I continue to get more interested in tech, particularly mobile phones. So in trying to help out readers with the same issue, I've put together a list of five recent apps that are well worth your time.

For some people, GameBoy is nothing but a gaming device. For others, it was a childhood. Either way, I'm sure most iPhone users would love a bit of Gameboy fun on their modern smart phone.

GBA4iOS is a popular emulator that has been completely redesigned to support iOS 7. An important update that has been made after the previous version is support for downloading games for your virtual GameBoy through the app itself.

How to hack Flappy Bird on iPhone

By: Marwan, February 7, 2014
Flappy Bird is the most frustrating and annoying game you've ever played on your iPhone. The developer claims his game has hit 50M downloads and generates $50k per day in ad revenue. And while developer Dong Nguyen is celebrating his success, some people can't even get past 10 pipes before their bird crashes into one of the pipes.

Fortunately, you can now celebrate a successful high score too, without the need to spend hours of your life mastering the game and avoiding to smash your iPhone. How? By a simple hack. All you need is a jailbroken iPhone and iFile (free). If Flappy Bird is running in the multitask then be sure to close it from there before starting this tutorial.

Below is a step by step tutorial to hack Flappy Bird!

10 Things You Need To Know About GTA V

By: Marwan, May 23, 2013

There are 10 things you need to know about one of the most anticipated games of the year, GTA V.

1. High Expectations

My expectations for GTA V are very darn high. It's been a while since I played GTA IV simply because I've had enough of the game. Nevertheless, the game is certainly one of my favorite games, which is why I'm so excited for the next big game in the Grand Theft Auto series.

There is one solid reason for me to demand a big change in GTA V. It is because GTA IV was released back in 2008. Yes, it was released 5 years ago. Yet, playing it half a decade later it feels like a modern game. I am aware that there are a few more Grand Theft Auto games that have been released after GTA IV, but none of them has seen the huge change yet. In fact, we weren't expecting much from these games.

Edge EX- grab it while it's free!

By: Marwan, February 2, 2013
Today the deal of the day for AppGratis(an app that is similar to FreeAppADay) was called Edge EX. I decided to give the game a go and download it. But when I took a look at the screenshot I was predicting a minecraft like game and I was hoping that it wasn't. Thankful it wasn't, but also thankfully I downloaded it. I can safely guarantee that Edge EX will be my next addiction game, until someone beats my score in Temple Run 2 (10 million).

Get running! Temple run 2 early review

By: Marwan, January 18, 2013
Temple Run has been a featured hit in mobile app stores, and it still is. From iOS to Android this game is one that stands out. It was featured recently in an Apple press release too. The developers knew that sticking to one game will not be enough if they really want to grow and so here is, Temple Run 2.

We have already seen Temple Run Brave, but that didn't get a top spot in the list. However, Temple Run 2 is now the top free app 1 day after it has been released. The new game is quite a significant improvement over the previous game. Here is an early review for the game.

GTA Vice City review for iOS

By: Marwan, December 9, 2012
GTA promised that they will be releasing a ported version of GTA Vice City to both iOS and Android. It has been out for iOS for roughly a week now, but not for Android due to technical reasons.  The app is priced at $5 for a universal app. So you only need to buy it once to play it on 10 iOS devices including iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. I bought the game and have been playing it on the iPad for quite a while and this is what I can say about it.

By: Marwan, September 19, 2012
Bad Piggies will be Rovio's next attempt to make a highly popular game. Rovio the makers of Angry Birds have just announced that they will be releasing a new game on the 27th September. All you can see now is a trailer that really grabbed my attention. I have purchased a couple of Angry Birds' games on my iPhone but somehow unlike millions of others the game never truly got me. This new game however appears to be a more customizable game rather than just shooting birds at pigs! Below is the trailer of Rovio's different attempt in gaming unlike their previous Angry Birds' series. More details about the game after the video.

Doodle Jump updated with power-ups, costumes and more!

By: Marwan, August 23, 2012
Doodle Jump, one of the most successful iOS apps of all time and certainly a very loved one, has been updated with the biggest update ever according to the developer. You can now collect coins to buy the new power-ups from the store; and as usual to get some money the developer lets you buy more coins for real life money. We now also got obstacles and moving platforms, so the game has a totally different experience (a lot greater!). I haven't played Doodle Jump in quite a while because it got boring of playing the same thing over and over again so it's awesome to see something new coming in. Just upgrade the app for free from the App Store and tell us what you think.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out top on the list again!

By: Marwan, August 19, 2012
The Simpsons: Tapped out is just one milestone of a game in iPhone's history! The game was released a few months ago but was removed because EA's servers were overloaded due to many people playing it! Yea the game is that good. What happened in the game is that Homer caused a meltdown that totally destroyed Springfield. So your objective is to rebuild Springfield. You unlock characters in the Simpsons family and then even unlock extra characters that you have seen in Simpsons.

The game is just fantastic. It requires an internet connection and is available for free on the App Store. Get amazed by downloading it here.

Make sure to tell us how the game was.
