If you have a jailbroken iPhone, then one of the things you may have noticed is the status bar is always showing in the default apps that came with your iPhone (e.g. Safari, Videos, Photos). It simply never goes away.
The instructions are really simple.
Open Cydia, and tap on Manage. Then select Sources.
Tap on Add to add a new source.
Add the source http://repo.pnre.co.vu/
After the source has been added search for the tweak StatusBarFix2.
Install the tweak and restart your springboard. Now try opening up one of the built in apps by Apple and avoid this annoying status bar for good!
