How to insert emoji on Mac

By: Marwan, October 13, 2013
Emoji are becoming increasingly popular on the iPhone. If you want to start making your tweets and documents more colorful on a Mac by inserting Emoji then this post will show you how it's done.

The method is pretty easy and involves adding a shortcut to your dock for quick access.

1- Open Finder

2- Press Shift+Command+G then search for /System/Library/Input Methods

3- Drag & Drop CharacterPalette into your dock

4- Click to open the app

5- Drag & Drop Emojis into tweets or documents

You only need to do the first three steps once to get the shortcut in your dock, but then if you ever want to use Emoji again you only need to do the last 2 steps. Enjoy!
