Tube You Later- download YouTube videos on iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad

Not everyone has an unlimited cellular data plan on their phones. And not everyone has access to high speed Internet when outside their homes. But what almost everyone can get is an app called Tube You Later. A free app that lets you save videos from YouTube directly into your iPhone so that you can watch them later when away from an Internet connection. The app could be useful in many situations, and in this tutorial I'll be showing you how it operates.


The app has a very simple interface. There are 4 tabs at the bottom of the screen.

• Watch: Watch downloaded videos
• Browse: Browse for videos to download from YouTube
• Downloads: Track the progress of any video being currently downloading
• More: Configure settings for the app

To start off tap on the browse tab and find a video. I'll use Gangam Style in this tutorial just because it's the one that popped into my head. So search for Gangam Style then tap on the video in the result. Tap the play button as if you're going to watch the video. When the video maximizes to full screen you'll see a menu come up with a prompt asking you to download.

When the video is downloaded you tap the watch tab and you can watch it from there without an internet connection. Simple and nice!

The app has a pro version that lets you watch the video in HD. It costs only $0.99. The pro version also lets you create playlists.
