Set Google chrome as default browser on iPhone

With the release of Google Chrome many users now want to set it as their default browser rather than using the default mobile safari. Google chrome made a great achievement of accomplishing first place in the top free apps in barely any time. The method I will show you now requires a jailbroken iDevice. Other than that, you're ready to go. So you wanna set Google chrome as your default browser? Read on to find out how.



What you need:

• A jailbroken iPhone
• Add a repo to Cydia via manage>sources>edit http://RepoCydia.com
• Browserchooser tweak to be downloaded from the repo

Once you have browser changer on your device, launch the settings app and scroll down to browserchooser. Choose Google chrome and you're done! Now you can enjoy google chrome as your default browser.

By the way google chrome is actually slower than the default safari app it just has a better UI. So you can consider to be a themed version of safari.
