iPhone's built-in web browser safari is an 'ok' web browser. People certainly seem to prefer the UI of google chrome app on iOS a lot more than safari. Click here to make google chrome your default browser! So there is a tweak available on Cydia that allows you to hide images in safari. The tweak is called ImSafari, and it is available for free, however you will need to add a repo to download it. More info after the break.

Once added you can download ImaSafari for free. The tweak does not add a springboard icon and options to configure are from Settings>Safari. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find an option to turn off images. If you open Safari you will realize a blank space where the image should be.
